상복부 초음파검사는 가장 일반적인 초음파검사라고 할 수 있으며, 간, 담낭, 담관, 췌장 등이 주로 검사 대상이 되는 장기이나 비장과 신장까지 포함한 상복부 장기들을 검사합니다.

상복부 초음파검사는 이럴 때 시행하게 됩니다.

· 상복부 통증 혹은 지속적인 소화 불량

· 우측 혹은 좌측 갈비뼈 아래에서 간 혹은 비장이 크게 촉진될 때

· 간 기능검사에서 이상 소견이 있을 때

· 혈액 검사에서 간암 수치나 췌장암 수치가 상승했을 때

· 간염, 간경변증, 지방간 환자들의 정기적인 추적 검사

· 양성 간 종양, 담낭 용종, 양성 췌장 종양 등의 정기적인 추적 검사

· 그 외에 건강 검진을 위해

상복부 초음파검사를 통해 지방간, 만성 간염, 간경변증, 간암, 혈관종, 낭종, 담관 확장, 담낭 결석, 담관 용종, 담도암, 췌장염, 췌장암 등의 가능성을 제시하거나 진단 할 수 있습니다. 초음파검사에서 가능성이 제시된 질환을 확인하기 위해서 CT나 MRI 등의 추가 검사를 하기도 합니다.

복부 초음파검사 전에

준비해야 할 사항은 무엇인가요?

상복부 초음파검사는 6시간 이상의 금식이 필요합니다. 금식이 필요한 이유는 음식을 먹으면 위장이 팽창하여 췌장 등이 가리게 되므로 부정확한 초음파검사가 될 수 있습니다.

담배나 껌도 위장 내 공기를 채우게 하므로 삼가해야 합니다. 지방 성분의 음식은 담낭을 수축 시켜서 담낭을 검사하는데 제약이 있습니다. 평소에 복용하는 고혈압이나 당뇨병 약 등은 적은 양의 물과 함께 복용할 수 있습니다.

유방초음파는 유방 촬영술에 비해 30세 이하 여성이나 치밀 유방을 가진 여성에서 병변을 발견하는 데 효과적이며, 유방종괴의 내부 성분을 감별하는데 유용하며 임산부나 수유부에서 안전하고 정확한 유방 검사방법입니다.

유방 초음파검사는

다음과 같은 경우에 시행하게 됩니다.

· 유방 촬영술에서 종괴성 병변이 의심되는 경우

· 유방에서 멍울이 만져지지만 유방촬영술에서는

이상 소견이 발견되지 않는 경우

· 젊은 여성에서 만져지는 유방 종괴

· 치밀 유방 구성을 보이는 경우

· 유방성형술을 받은 여성에서 삽입물과 유방조직을 검사할 때

· 초음파검사에서 보이는 암을 의심할 만한 소견을 조직검사할 때

초음파검사로 물혹, 염증, 양성 종양, 악성 종양 등을 진단할 수 있습니다. 악성이 의심되면 조직 검사를 하고 악성의 소견이 없는 경우는 6개월, 1년, 2년 간격으로 추적 검사를 시행합니다.

초음파를 이용하여 갑상선 내부구조와 형태를 확인할 수 있습니다.

갑상선 초음파검사는

다음과 같은 경우에 시행하게 됩니다.

· 갑상선 종괴가 촉지 되는 경우 병변의 모양, 크기, 범위를 알기 위해

· 만져지지 않는 결절이 발견되었을 때

· 미만성 갑상선 질환에서 악성이 의심되는 종괴가 발견되었을 때

· 중재적 시술 후 병변의 추적 검사

· 갑상선암 고위험군 환자의 선별 검사

· 갑상선암 수술 후 재발이나 전이를 판단할 때

· 암 의심 종괴를 세침흡인생검 또는 조직검사할 때 영상 유도 목적

갑상선 초음파검사로 갑상선 물혹, 갑상선염, 양성 종양, 악성 종양 등을 진단할 수 있습니다. 초음파검사에서 암이 의심되는 경우에 초음파 유도 하에 세침흡인생검을 통해 조직검사를 할 수 있습니다.

경동맥이란 심장에서 뇌로 올라가는 혈관(동맥)으로, 목 부위에 있어서 경(頸)동맥이라고 부릅니다. 인체에 무해한 초음파를 이용하여 두개외 경동맥의 내중막 두께, 죽상판(Plaque)의 유무, 혈류속도, 혈류 방향 등을 측정하여 동맥경화 및 협착 정도, 폐쇄의 유무 등을 확인할 수 있는 검사입니다.

경동맥의 상태로 뇌와 심장혈관의 상태를 유추할 수 있어서, 검사결과는 뇌졸중, 심근경색증 같은 심각한 혈관질환의 조기진단지표로 활용됩니다.

경동맥 초음파검사는 어떤 목적으로 사용되나요?

· 뇌졸중 및 심혈관질환의 가족력이 있는 경우

· 뇌졸중 및 심혈관질환으로 치료 받고 있는 경우

· 고혈압당뇨, 고지혈증, 대사증후군

심초음파 검사란 심장에 초음파를 보내어 반사되어 돌아오는 초음파를 분석하여 영상을 만들어서 심장의 형태적인 구조와 기능을 평가하는 기법을 말합니다.

이 검사는 몸속으로 기구를 삽입하지 않고도 심장의 내부 구조, 심장의 기능 및 움직임을 눈으로 직접 볼 수 있고, 통증이나 위험성이 없습니다. 또한, X-선 촬영이나 방사선 동위원소 검사처럼 방사선에 노출될 염려가 없으므로 임신부나 유아에도 안심하고 검사할 수 있습니다.

심장 초음파검사는 판막 질환, 허혈성 심장질환, 선천성 심장질환, 심근병증, 심장막 질환, 감염성 심내막염, 폐동맥색전, 대동맥박리 등의 심혈관 질환의 진단과 치료 결정 및 치료 경과의 관찰에 많은 정보를 제공하고 있습니다.

하복부 초음파는

신장과 부신, 방광을 검사하게 됩니다.

하복부 초음파검사는

다음과 같은 증상이 있을 때 시행하게 됩니다.

· 옆구리나 등 뒤의 통증

· 소변검사상 혈뇨, 단백뇨, 농뇨 등의 이상 소견

· 원인을 알 수 없는 발열

하복부 초음파검사를 통해 신장낭종이나 신장암, 신우신염, 신부전, 신장 및 요로결석, 수신증, 신장기형 등을 확인할 수 있습니다.

고혈압이 있는 환자에서 신장동맥의 협착에 의한 신동맥성 고혈압의 진단에는 도플러 초음파검사가 유용한 검사입니다.

초음파검사 전에 준비해야 할 사항은 무엇인가요?

검사에 따라 물을 마시고 가능한 소변을 참아

전립선 초음파검사는 전립선의 구조를 확인하기 위해 시행합니다 .

전립선 초음파검사는

다음과 같은 증상이 있을 때 시행하게 됩니다.

· 소변을 보기가 힘들거나 너무 자주 볼 때

· 소변을 볼 때 아프거나 끝이 시원하지 않을 때

· 정액에 피가 섞인 경우

· 남성 불임

유방암 검진을 위하여 유방 초음파 검사만 받아도 되나요?

아닙니다.

유방암은 눈으로 알아보기 어려울 정도의 미세 석회화 병변으로 나타나는 경우가 있는데,

이는 초음파검사로 확인하기 어렵고 유방촬영술에만 보이는 경우가 많아 초음파검사 만으로 유방촬영술을 대치할 수는 없습니다.

초음파와 유방촬영은 서로 보완적인 관계이므로, 두 가지 모두 검사하는 것이 유방암 발견 확률을 높일 수 있습니다.

초음파를 이용하여 갑상선 내부구조와 형태를 확인할 수 있습니다.

갑상선 초음파검사는 다음과 같은 경우에 시행하게 됩니다.

· 갑상선 종괴가 촉지 되는 경우 병변의 모양, 크기, 범위를 알기 위해
